The Implementation of Smart Metering System in ENERGA-OPERATOR SA – From Idea to Production

Abstract
This article presents a summary of the project implementation of Smart Metering systems in ENERGA-OPERATOR SA. The main objective of the project is the remote management and remote measurement data acquisition, reduction of the carrying difference, increasing energy efficiency and efficient management of the grid distribution and control consumption energy by the consumer and many others. This paper describes the business and technical assumption, challenges of the implementation of the project, the results achieved, and the reasons for the decision on the project by the company.
