Physiological signal characteristics and related application scenarios require low input-referred noise, low power consumption, and low cutoff frequency in ICs designed for these applications. This work describes how to build fully integrated circuits for low cutoff frequencies, chopper stabilization (CHS), and other techniques that can be used to generate high signal-to-noise ratios. To reduce power consumption, these techniques include subthreshold circuits, bulk-controlled MOSFETs, floating-gate MOSFETs, and log-domain circuits. New applications of these methods are also described.</p> ER -
